Textbooks and Library Resources:

Textbooks will be issued to all students for all classes in which they are currently enrolled.

Textbooks are available in D115 until 4 pm Mon-Fri. Please call or email if you’d like to schedule an appointment.
Textbooks MUST be returned or paid for before transferring your student out and no later than the end of the school year. Parents/Guardians will be financially responsible for lost or damaged books/materials. Please contact the school as soon as possible if your student will be transferring to another school to schedule a day/time to return your books/materials.
North Natomas Public Library:
Inderkum is in joint partnership with the Sacramento Public Library/North Natomas Branch
The North Natomas Library is open to IHS students outside of school hours only, which are from 8:30am - 3:29pm Mon-Fri. At this time, access during lunch time is not permitted.

Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Services:
All students have equal access to the library outside of school hours. Library cards will be issued to students upon request which are valid at all 28 Sacramento Public Library locations. Students may request a library card online or in person outside of school hours. Students under 18 years of age will need a parent/guardian to show ID and proof of address to obtain a full access card. Otherwise, a limited access card will be provided.
Library cardholders can check out up to 60 library books, movies, ebooks or audiobooks, newspapers, and magazines.
Students with limited access cards can only check out up to 2 library books.
Link+ books are available through the library’s network of 50 library systems from large public libraries and Universities in California and Nevada.
If a desired book is not available in person, it may be requested online from any library and have it delivered to the North Natomas Branch.
Charges for any damaged or lost items may apply. If you owe more than $5.00 in fines, you may be restricted from checking out materials or using the library’s computers unless you are with your class. Fines may be paid online or at the library.
Computer Usage:
There are 70 Internet access computers, a copy machine, 2 black and white printers, and 1 color printer. Printing and copying costs $0.15 per page.
All students currently enrolled are automatically provided a Student Success Card that guarantees access to computers as well as all digital items. Students should follow the format below to log onto computers:
Library Card Number: [Student's NUSD ID Number] (ex. 1234567)
Passcode: [Student's Year of Birth] (ex. 2006)
