What is Upward Bound?
Upward Bound at American River College is a FREE college-prep program with the mission to support high school students in achieving their dreams of attending and succeeding in college.
Who can join?
We welcome motivated 9-12th grade students who:
- Are not part of CECA or Talent Search (ETS)
- Attend Inderkum High School
- Show a strong desire to pursue higher education
- Parents have not completed a Bachelor's degree in the United States
- Meet Federal Income Guidelines

- 6-Week college experience on the ARC campus
