IB Diploma Programme
Welcome!
Inderkum High School has been fully authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme as of February 27, 2014. We received authorization for the Middle Years Programme (grades 6-10), in conjunction with Natomas Middle School, on January 22, 2016.
Scholars is an honors program to prepare students in grades 9 and 10 for the rigors, breadth and depth of the IB Diploma Programme. Students apply to be part of the program and are scheduled in accelerated classes taught by IB-trained teachers.
Applications for the Class of 2029 will open on November 15 and are due by January 31, 2025. There is a “how to” document in the application section, and the application link is there as well. If you’re interested in applying for the Scholars Class of 2028 or taking IB Diploma Programme courses as part of the Class of 2027, please email first for information once the application is opened. Notifications of acceptance will go out in March 2025.
We do not offer tours during the school day. Your next opportunity to visit will be on our Tiger Tour Night, January 16. Coordinators and current students will be there to answer questions. Check back here and on the Inderkum home page for information as we get closer to January. Those who submit applications before the tour date will be notified with details. You're also welcome to visit during the Inderkum Open House on March 27.
Please note that there is a separate enrollment process for Inderkum that also needs to be completed in order for your student to be considered for Scholars/IB. Please review this chart carefully to learn the required steps to complete your student’s enrollment.
